Everett Soccer Club Vacation Program

Waltham, 26 June, 2013; Everett Soccer Club is delighted to announce that Mass Premier Soccer (MPS) will be running a soccer vacation program at Everett Stadium.

The camp will run from July 8th – July 11th from 9am – 12pm and will target players from age 6 – 14. The camp will be run by Everett Director of Coaching Sean Napier and other coaches from MPS. The price for the 4 day training program will be $40 with each player receiving a sac pack and t-shirt.

‘I am excited to be running a 4 day soccer training program in Everett,’ said Everett DOC Sean Napier. ‘It is a great opportunity for players from Everett and surrounding towns to work with professional coaches and have access to high level coaching.’

Everett Soccer Club U16 Boys Qualify for MTOC

Waltham, 26th June, 2013; Everett Soccer Club would like to congratulate the U16 Boys on qualifying for Massachusetts Tournament of Champions (MTOC) after a successful campaign in division 1 of the Middlesex League.

The U16 boys coached by Eamon Kernan, Joe Melo and Tony Morais qualified for MTOC after defeating Tewksbury 2-0 in the playoff game.  Everett went into the game as underdogs as Tewksbury have been undefeated this season.

‘It is great to the see the U16 boys advance to MTOC,’ said Head Coach Eamon Kernan. ‘The boys have been working hard in practice preparing for the Tewksbury game and their efforts have paid off. We are now looking forward to competing at MTOC and hope that the Everett community will show their support.’

For those of you that would like to support ESC BU16 team at MTOC, all the games will be played at Citizens Bank field in Lancaster.

Friday Game #2: Field 5 at 6:00 PM
Saturday Game: Field 9 at 12:30 PM
Sunday Games TBD (depending on points): Semi Final at 8:00 AM and Final at 1:00 PM


New Curriculum for ESC Coaches

Waltham, 21st March, 2013; Everett Soccer Club and its coaches have been given a huge boost before the start of the league season after Global Premier Soccer, in conjunction with the GPS-As Roma Inner City Initiative, gave ESC access to their U10-U18 coaching curriculum. 

As ESC continues to evolve, this move will ensure that coaches are equipped to deliver an innovative on-field coaching session. 

 “The GPS club curriculum and methodology is closely monitored and re-evaluated and is ever evolving,” said ESC Director of Coaching Sean Napier.  “Our aim is to enhance the soccer experience of all players and coaches at ESC which is now possible with a consistent curriculum.”

As ESC continues to move forward, everyone involved with the program is looking forward to a successful spring season.
